Job Responsibilities:
- 「Agent Leverage & AI Integration」 Structure trade execution logic into high-fidelity API interfaces and well-defined safe-operating-bounds that AI agents can act within reliably. You don't just use AI tools — you architect the guardrails that let agents execute at speed without blowing up the book.
- 「Full Cycle Research & System Ownership」 Own the entire strategy lifecycle — from hypothesis formation and data exploration, through back-testing and validation, to production deployment and post-trade analysis. You don't hand off; you own outcomes end-to-end. Continuously monitor live system performance (latency, slippage, fill rates) and drive capital efficiency improvements proactively.
- 「Strategy Validation & Back-testing」 Engineer rigorous back-testing frameworks on historical tick-level data. Stress-test perpetual strategies across diverse market regimes before capital is deployed. The bar isn't "it works in backtests" — it's "it survives production."
- 「Deep Data Engineering」 Work with large-scale, complex datasets to surface non-obvious patterns and translate them into concrete system improvements. Communicate technical findings clearly across engineers, PMs, and stakeholders — clarity of insight matters as much as depth of analysis.
- 「Perp Risk & Dynamic Hedging」 Build and maintain automated risk systems: real-time margin monitoring, dynamic delta hedging, and exposure management. Operate effectively in high-pressure environments — when something breaks at 3am, you diagnose and resolve it.
- 「DeFi & On-Chain Innovation」 Stay ahead of CeFi/DeFi developments. Integrate emerging mechanisms — smart contract interactions, automated on-chain protocols, new liquidity venues — into systematic trading algorithms before the market prices them in.
Qualifications:
- 「Quantitative Foundation」 Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's or PhD preferred — but demonstrated research output and production systems matter more than credentials.
- 「Full Cycle Track Record」 Proven experience taking quantitative strategies from ideation to live production. Not just research — you've deployed, monitored, and iterated on live systems. Experience managing risk across multi-asset portfolios.
- 「Technical Stack」 Advanced Python and SQL; C++ or Rust for latency-sensitive applications. You write production-grade code, not just research notebooks.
- 「System & Architectural Judgment」 Experience optimizing live trading infrastructure for latency, throughput, and execution quality. You can reason about where the bottleneck is — network, compute, contract, or logic — and fix it at the right layer.
- 「Blockchain Depth」 Solid understanding of smart contract mechanics (Solidity/Rust), DeFi primitives (DEXs, AMMs, lending protocols), and on-chain data analysis. Comfortable reading raw transactions and reasoning about protocol-level edge cases.
- 「Learning Velocity」 The DeFi landscape changes weekly. New protocols, new risk vectors, new alpha surfaces. You experiment fast, update your priors, and don't get attached to yesterday's playbook.
